Olympic Feats and Tasty Treats

The Olympics are here again, that wonderful global event that brings the world's cultures closer together every few years.

Are You a Flexitarian?

People of all ages living all over the world are looking for ways to be healther and wealthier. Baby Boomers in the U.S. (named after the so-called "baby boom" that created more births in the U.S. than at anytime in history) are now referring to themselves more often as "Baby Zoomers." A Zoomer is one who, though in their 50s or 60s is maintaining an incredibly active and healthy lifestyle. 60 is the new 30, as they say.

Salty or Sweet?

If you like snacks -and let's face it, if you don't like snacks we're a little worried about you - the debate is always whether you prefer salty snacks or sweet snacks. If you're like us you just go back and forth in the endless quest to find the best snack. In an effort to answer that debate we attended the Sweets & Snacks Expo last week in Chicago. Your Chief Ambassadors were literally like two kids in a candy and snack shop. From getting a ride on the Pez-cycle to tasting all the latest snacks, we had a ball.

Where Food and Heaven Meet

Living well means tasting all that life has to offer. Taking that literally, we decided to visit the National Restaurant Association Show, an international foodservice marketplace that let's us take a peek into what's cooking in restaurants and professional kitchens all around the world. This year's event boasted more than 1900 exhibitors and over 50,000 industry attendees. To say we had died and gone to heaven wouldn't be all that much hyperbole. From headline speaker Bill Clinton, to everyday culinary wizards, the show was a feast for the eyes as well as for the stomach.
